Korea Management Association Consulting KCSI survey
Company leads in 9 categories, extending record streak
TVs, mobile phones top-ranked for 29 straight years; PCs for 25
Samsung Electronics said Wednesday it has topped the most product categories in the 2026 Korean Customer Satisfaction Index (KCSI) survey for the 25th consecutive year.
The KCSI, administered by Korea Management Association Consulting (KMAC), measures customer satisfaction and repurchase intent across major domestic industries. This year's survey covered 455 companies across 122 industry segments.
Samsung claimed first place in nine categories, the highest number among all participating companies. Its TVs and mobile phones each extended their top-ranked streaks to 29 consecutive years.
The company also held the top spot in PCs for the 25th consecutive year and in refrigerators and washing machines for the 17th straight year, reinforcing its standing as a leading home appliance and IT company.
Samsung also extended its winning streaks in cordless stick vacuums and dryers, topping those categories for six and five consecutive years, respectively. Its 2026 Bespoke AI Family Hub Kitchen Fit Max refrigerator uses camera-based AI Vision technology to automatically identify ingredients and suggest personalized recipes, delivering an enhanced kitchen experience.
The Bespoke AI Kimchi Plus Kitchen Fit Max kimchi refrigerator drew strong customer satisfaction with its AI Constant Temperature mode, which minimizes temperature fluctuations based on usage patterns, and its Lactic Acid Bacteria Crisp Fermentation function for optimal kimchi flavor.
The Bespoke AI Washer analyzes laundry type, weight and soil level to provide optimized cycles covering washing, rinsing and spinning. The Bespoke AI Dryer offers customized drying cycles tailored to fabric type and characteristics.
The 2026 Bespoke AI WindFree Combo Gallery Pro air conditioner earned positive responses for its AI Motion Wind feature, which detects the user's location and activity level to deliver optimized cooling conditions.
"This achievement of topping the most KCSI categories reflects the culmination of our long-accumulated product technology and commitment to customer satisfaction," said Jo Myung-ho, executive vice president of Samsung Electronics' Visual Display Business Division. "We will continue to introduce products and services that make customers' daily lives more convenient, backed by differentiated AI technology and superior quality."
