Daesang's Chungjeongone brand announced Wednesday that it has completely overhauled the packaging design of its entire pasta sauce lineup for the first time in 12 years.
The company aims to consolidate its position as the No. 1 pasta sauce brand in South Korea by adopting a more intuitive and refined design that reflects current trends, while keeping the taste and quality of its existing products unchanged.
The new packaging incorporates the oval design element from Chungjeongone's brand identity across the full product range to visually express the brand's heritage. The design takes a clean, modern approach, with the product name prominently displayed on the front. Each sauce variety — tomato, cream and rosé — is assigned a distinct color for easy identification at a glance.
Alongside the redesign, the company is launching two new products: Chungjeongone Pomodoro Pasta Sauce and Chungjeongone Neapolitan Pasta Sauce. Both will be available at up to 46 percent off throughout October on Daesang's official online store, Jeongwon e-Shop. Customers who write product reviews will also be eligible for a department store gift certificate giveaway.
"We have completely renewed the packaging with a design that is both intuitive and reflective of our brand heritage, so that more people can easily enjoy Chungjeongone pasta sauce — South Korea's No. 1," said Yang Seung-cheol, head of Daesang's C Sauce business unit.
