Colorful cosmos flowers have begun blooming at the Goryeong Dasan ginkgo forest in Jwahak-ri, Dasan-myeon, Goryeong-gun, North Gyeongsang Province. The vivid blossoms are already brightening the forest, and the ginkgo trees are expected to turn golden from mid-November, creating a spectacular autumn landscape alongside the cosmos.
The forest will host the 2026 Goryeong Dasan Ginkgo Forest Autumn Outing festival, "For Rest, For You," from Oct. 14 to Oct. 22, when the fall foliage and golden ginkgo trees are expected to be at their peak. Goryeong-gun will open the forest to tourists from Thursday through Nov. 22.
"We hope many people will come and enjoy the beautiful autumn scenery where the river, the forest and the cosmos come together," a Goryeong-gun official said.
