Nongshim's Lifill wins innovation award at SIAL Paris 2026

Lifill, Nongshim's health functional food brand, announced Thursday that its Derma Collagen Signature RN product has won the SIAL Innovation Selection 2026 award at SIAL Paris 2026, one of the world's leading food trade exhibitions.

The SIAL Innovation award recognizes products based on the technological novelty of their ingredients, functional value, recipe and overall contribution to the food industry.

Derma Collagen Signature RN is a health functional food built around a proprietary skin-health ingredient — Low Molecular Collagen Peptide NS — developed in-house using Nongshim's collagen research and development capabilities. The entire process, from sourcing the collagen ingredient to finished production, is managed domestically.

The product's scientific credentials have also been established. Using a patented enzymatic hydrolysis process, Nongshim broke collagen down to 173 daltons. The company holds two related patents and has published three SCI-level papers based on the results of two human clinical trials.

Derma Collagen Signature RN will be showcased as a SIAL Innovation Selection winner at the Nongshim booth at SIAL Paris 2026, which opens Oct. 17 in Paris. "We will continue to introduce health functional foods that deliver new value to consumers, backed by our differentiated research and development capabilities," a Nongshim official said.
