Kim Byong-yong, 92, former president of Daegu City Gas — Funeral services are being held at Daegu Sangnewon Funeral Hall, Room 203. Kim is survived by his children Kim Seung-jae, head of Daesung Energy's service center; Kim Min-jung; Kim Yeon-hui; and Kim Yu-young. He is also mourned by his daughter-in-law Kim Ji-young, and by his sons-in-law Ryu Jang-su, a professor at Pukyong National University, and Shin Seong-won, head of corporate planning at Posco. Kim died Wednesday at 3 p.m. The funeral procession departs Saturday at 7 a.m., with interment at Hyundai Park Cemetery No. 1 in Chilgok-gun, North Gyeongsang Province. Tel. 053-952-4000.
