Gyeongil University's Job Plus Center held its 2026 Sports Career Build-Up Camp for 60 sports-program students at Mauna Ocean Resort in Gyeongju on Thursday and Friday.

The camp was designed to deepen students' understanding of the sports industry and related job functions, helping them map out concrete career paths in a step-by-step manner.

College of Sports Dean Lee Won-hee joined other faculty members and outside industry experts to lead sessions focused on career fields within the sports industry and the professional competencies required for them.

The first day opened with team-building and motivational activities, followed by relay lectures from four College of Sports professors.

On the second day, participants examined the importance of self-management — including time management and daily routine design — before presenting their own career ideas in their areas of interest.

Kim Ho-kwon, director of the Job Plus Center, said the center would continue to expand high-quality career and employment support programs that meet students' needs.
