Actors Yoo Seung-ho, 33, and Lim Se-ju, 35, confirmed Thursday they were once in a relationship but have since broken up, responding to reports that the two had been dating for six years.
Yoo's agency, 333 Entertainment, said the two actors "were in a romantic relationship but have currently separated and are maintaining a good collegial relationship."
Earlier Thursday, reports emerged that the pair had been dating for six years after meeting on the 2020 tvN drama series "Memorist." The news of their relationship broke at nearly the same time as word that they had already ended it.
Yoo had been largely free of dating rumors throughout his more than two decades in the industry since childhood. In a 2017 interview, he said he had dated a few times over the years, adding, "I think it's better to be upfront than to hide it and lie later."
Yoo made his debut in the 2000 MBC drama series "Gasi Gogi" and rose to prominence in the 2002 film "The Way Home." He has since appeared in the drama series "Warrior Baek Dong-soo," "Boksu ga Dorawatda" and "Kkot Pimyeon Dal Saenggakago," as well as the films "The Magician" and "Bong Yi Kim Seon Dal," among others.
Lim began her career as a singer under the name Haeora in 2011 before expanding into acting in 2014. She has appeared in the drama series "My Golden Life," "Hana Ppunin Nae Pyeon," "Zombie Detective" and "Mask Girl," among others.
