BTS and BLACKPINK are among the nominees for the 2026 Kids' Choice Awards, the American pop culture ceremony hosted by children's entertainment network Nickelodeon. The nomination pool spans music, albums, collaborations, animated voice performances and a virtual group's original soundtrack, drawing attention for its breadth of K-pop representation.
The nominee list, released Thursday (local time), shows BTS earning three nods: Favorite Song for "SWIM," Favorite Album for "ARIRANG," and Favorite Music Group/Duo.
The Kids' Choice Awards recognizes stars and works across music, television and film chosen by fans.
BTS won Favorite Music Group four consecutive years from 2020 to 2023, holding the all-time record for wins in that category. The group is now in contention for a fifth trophy in the same category this year.
BLACKPINK is also nominated in the Favorite Music Group/Duo category alongside BTS.
Member Rosé received an individual nod for Favorite Female Artist, while Jennie is nominated for Favorite Music Collaboration for "Dracula," her joint release with Australian singer Tame Impala.
Katseye, the Korea-US joint girl group under Hybe, earned a nomination for Favorite Female Breakout Artist/Group.
The Netflix animated film "KPop Demon Hunters" also picked up multiple nominations at this year's ceremony.
Ahn Hyo-seop and Arden Cho, who voice the lead characters Jinwoo and Rumi respectively, are each nominated — Ahn for Favorite Male Animated Voice From a Movie and Cho for Favorite Female Animated Voice From a Movie.
Arden Cho, Yoo Su-young and May Hong, who voice Rumi, Joy and Mira of the fictional in-film girl group Huntrix, are nominated for Favorite On-Screen Duo/Trio. The film's original soundtrack "Golden," performed by EJAE, Audrey Nuna and Rei Ami, is up for Favorite Song From a Movie.
