Seoul Community Chest of Korea holds donation ceremony
The HOF contributes beauty products
Community project targets underserved elderly residents
A beauty and personal care company has stepped up to support the welfare of elderly residents through a product donation.
The Seoul Community Chest of Korea announced Tuesday that The HOF donated cosmetics worth 130 million won ($97,200) to benefit elderly people in the community.
The donation was intended to bring elderly recipients the everyday joy of caring for themselves. It comprised 6,246 items across three cosmetics types — sun serum, ampoule pads and toner — delivered to the Gwangmyeong Municipal Senior Care Center for distribution to residents.
The HOF, a beauty and personal care products company, said it plans to continue a range of community programs aimed at providing meaningful support to neighbors in need.
"We are delighted to share with elderly residents the joy of taking care of themselves," said Lee Seon, CEO of The HOF. "Starting with this donation, we will consistently pay attention to the local community and keep giving back."
Shin Hye-young, secretary general of the Seoul Community Chest of Korea, thanked The HOF for its generosity. "This product donation will also be a great help in caring attentively for our elderly residents," she said.
