Goryeong-gun dispatches 2026 overseas trade mission to Vietnam, Indonesia

Goryeong-gun in North Gyeongsang Province has dispatched an overseas trade mission to Vietnam and Indonesia, joining 11 local small and medium-sized enterprises on a six-day trip to explore new export markets, the county announced Tuesday.

The participating companies are Ems Food Co., Naeun Agricultural Corporation, Dongjin Co., Samjin Co., Sujeong Agricultural Cooperative, Ace Heat Treatment Co., Jaekyung Industry Co., Jisan Tarpaulin Co., Cheongra, Cheonil SF and Haein Machinery Co.

The delegation will hold on-site export consultations in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, and Jakarta, Indonesia, through Saturday.

This year, the mission moves beyond the conventional trade-fair consultation format by pairing standard meetings with direct factory and site visits tailored to each company's product type and industry sector.

"Through this trade mission, we will actively support local companies so that their consultations go beyond simple meetings and lead to actual deals — through customized consultations and on-site exchanges suited to each company's characteristics," a Goryeong-gun official said.
