The Daegu Metropolitan Office of Education announced Monday it will hold the 2026 Daegu Student Book Festival at the Daegu Feb. 28 Memorial Student Library on Saturday.
The festival was planned around the slogan of the office's Reading Practice Three Movement — "Read every day, share together, practice in life."
The event will be organized into four areas: a reading zone, a debate zone, a book-writing zone and a reading-practice zone.
Detailed schedules and information for each program are available on the Daegu Office of Education website or through individual school websites.
"I hope this book festival will be a meaningful occasion for families in education and citizens alike to connect through books on an autumn weekend, and for the joy of reading to become a source of strength in their lives," said Daegu Superintendent of Education Kang Eun-hee.
