Up to 2 trillion won available through end of November
Minimum deposit 1 million won; no limit on number of accounts per customer
Woori Bank on Tuesday launched a special fixed-deposit product called "Woori 369 Jeonggi Yegeum," allowing customers to choose a term of three, six or nine months based on their financial plans.
The product will be available through the end of November with a total cap of 2 trillion won ($1.5 billion). Annual interest rates are set at 3.40 percent for the three-month term, 3.75 percent for six months and 3.80 percent for nine months.
Rates are announced daily for each term and may change depending on market conditions. However, the rate applied on the date of enrollment is locked in until maturity. Early withdrawals are subject to a reduced rate.
The product is a digital-only fixed deposit available exclusively through the Woori WON Banking app to individual customers using their real names. The minimum deposit per account is 1 million won, and there is no limit on the number of accounts a single customer may open, allowing funds to be split across multiple accounts based on when and how the money will be used.
The bank said customers can freely choose the deposit amount and maturity date to match specific financial goals, such as saving for travel, a wedding or tuition.
Woori Financial Group has been promoting a range of high-interest products this month through its "2026 Woori Financial Together Festa," a campaign run jointly by eight of its affiliates.
"This product was designed to help customers align their deposit terms with when they plan to use their funds and manage their spare cash more efficiently," a Woori Bank official said. "We will continue to introduce financial products that reflect market conditions and the diverse cash-management needs of our customers."
