More than 160 security professionals attend; AI security strategies and training activities featured
As AI-driven security threats continue to spread worldwide, AhnLab has brought together its customers to share strategies for countering them.
AhnLab said it held its annual technology conference, AhnLab Tech Summit 2026, on Thursday at L Tower in Yangjae-dong, Seoul.
AhnLab Tech Summit is an annual customer event where the company shares the latest know-how on responding to security threats using its products and services. More than 160 security professionals from customers in the public sector, finance, enterprise, manufacturing and IT industries attended.
This year's event placed particular emphasis on AI-centered security enhancement strategies, and the company also organized a range of training activities aimed at improving AI-based security operations efficiency. Sessions covered operational know-how across six areas: the 2027 product and service roadmap, the latest threat trends, AhnLab AI Plus, extended detection and response (XDR), operational technology (OT) security, and zero trust.
Through various technical sessions and exhibitions, AhnLab also presented its AI strategy, which centers on developing AI as the core pillar of its entire product and service portfolio.
"The speed and scale of attacks are expanding rapidly with the emergence of AI, and the need to strengthen security frameworks using AI is becoming increasingly clear," said Han Chan-seok, head of AhnLab's business division. "We plan to expand our education and technology exchange activities to raise customers' security standards and build their capabilities."
Meanwhile, AhnLab last month declared its transition to an "AI-native security platform company." The company plans to invest a total of 100 billion won ($75.4 million) in AI over the next three years to redesign its products, services and overall security operations around AI. It has set a target of reaching 1 trillion won in sales by 2035.
