Actor Han Go-eun revealed her affection for her husband Shin Young-soo as the two wrote a mock will together.
A video titled "Why Han Go-eun met with a lawyer and wrote a will with her husband" was posted Thursday on her YouTube channel "Go-eun Unni Han Go-eun."
Han explained what had drawn her to the subject of wills, mentioning that she had been in poor health recently.
"Having brushed up against the threshold of life, I found myself thinking a great deal," she said. "Both life and death feel so much weightier now than they did when I was young."
She added that the experience had left her with many questions about how to live more fully, and invited attorney Jeong Jae-min, a former judge, to discuss the topic.
Her husband Shin Young-soo joined them as well. The couple posed a range of questions to the attorney, covering everything from the division of marital assets to inheritance and the legal validity of wills.
"I wrote that I'm leaving all my assets to my husband, so he can take good care of Haru and Sinbi," Han said.
She then revealed the contents of her mock will: "I leave all the assets I have to my husband Shin Young-soo. Please take good care of Haru and Sinbi," referring to the couple's pet dogs.
Shin's mock will listed imaginary assets including watches and a building, and closed with a personal note: "I love you. Let's meet again in the next life. I'm not sure we'll be able to, since I didn't save the country in this one, but … "
Han married Shin Young-soo, a non-celebrity four years her junior, in 2015.
