Yeongdeungpo-gu District Mayor Jo Yu-jin visited Dangsan Park on Friday afternoon for the "With Daengnyangi! Flea Market Grand Outing," a festival celebrating companion animals.
The park hosted more than 30 flea market booths alongside a range of programs, including a mobile off-leash play area for small and medium-sized dogs and a "walking class" designed to help correct problem behaviors in pets.
Jo mingled with residents and their animals, exchanging warm greetings and browsing the market stalls throughout the event.
"Respecting all life that we share this world with is essential to upholding human dignity and value," Jo said. "I will work to ensure that people can find emotional comfort and joy together with their companion animals."
