Hyosung takes families of children with disabilities on 3-day trip to Incheon

Hyosung announced Monday that it held a two-night, three-day family trip in the Yeongjongdo area of Incheon from Saturday to Monday, organized jointly with the Purme Foundation.

A total of 20 families participated — 10 families of children with disabilities who receive rehabilitation treatment support from Hyosung and the Purme Foundation, and 10 families of Hyosung employees.

The trip was designed to give families of children with disabilities a chance to step away from their daily routines of hospital visits and treatment and create special memories together, while offering Hyosung employees' families an opportunity to experience the value of sharing.

Participants were paired in groups — each pairing a family of a child with a disability with a Hyosung employee's family — and enjoyed a range of activities together, including media art exhibitions, water play and amusement park visits.

Hyosung has partnered with the Purme Foundation since 2013 to fund rehabilitation treatment for children with disabilities. The company also covers psychological treatment and educational costs for siblings without disabilities who face academic or emotional difficulties.

In addition, Hyosung continues its corporate social responsibility efforts by sponsoring an annual family trip to help children with disabilities and their families find renewed energy in their lives.
