Arrest warrant sought for YouTuber who showed up at subscriber's home with soju bottle

Police have applied for an arrest warrant for a YouTuber who allegedly went to a subscriber's home wielding a soju bottle while threatening the person during a live broadcast.

According to the Cheongju Sangdang Police Station and Yonhap, police applied for the warrant against the man, identified only as A, a YouTuber in his 30s, on charges of aggravated intimidation.

A was arrested at the scene Saturday after a subscriber, identified as B, called police. Officers arrived to find A walking through a street in Mochung-dong, Cheongju, soju bottle in hand, heading toward B's home with a live YouTube stream running — all at around 4:15 p.m.

Investigators said A had gotten into an argument with the subscriber, with whom he had an ongoing dispute, and threatened to kill him before setting out for the subscriber's home.
