12-month term, up to 3.9% annual rate — deposits capped at 1 billion won
First-come, first-served via NH All One Bank through Nov. 30
NH NongHyup Bank is launching a second round of its special fixed-rate deposit offering an annual rate of up to 3.9%. The move comes after the first tranche of 500 billion won ($378 million) sold out within a week of its release, prompting the bank to allocate an additional 500 billion won.
The bank said Tuesday it would begin second-round sales of the "NH All One Bank 10th Anniversary Deposit" the same day. The product was created to mark the 10th anniversary of NH All One Bank, the flagship digital platform of NongHyup Financial Group.
The second round carries a total limit of 500 billion won. Customers can sign up on a first-come, first-served basis through NH All One Bank until Nov. 30, with sales closing early if the limit is reached.
The deposit has a 12-month maturity, with a minimum subscription of 100,000 won and a maximum of 1 billion won per customer.
As of Tuesday, the product offers a base annual rate of 3.65%, with preferential rates of up to 0.25 percentage points added on top, bringing the maximum to 3.9%. A 0.1-percentage-point bonus rate is available to all customers with no conditions attached, while an additional 0.15 percentage points go to customers who have not held a deposit or savings account with NH NongHyup Bank in the past six months.
The bank launched the first round of the same product on Oct. 13, but decided to extend sales after the 500 billion won limit was exhausted within a week.
"We decided to offer an additional special sale as a token of gratitude to customers who have been with NH All One Bank throughout its 10th anniversary," a bank official said. "NH NongHyup Bank will continue to provide a wide range of financial products and services to enhance distinctive customer experiences and deliver tangible benefits."
Meanwhile, NH NongHyup Bank was recently selected as the primary treasury bank for the proposed Jeonnam-Gwangju integrated special city, and will manage its general accounts, regional development fund and administrative integration fiscal support funds for four years starting in 2027. Gwangju Bank will serve as the secondary treasury bank.
