Hite Jinro announced Tuesday that it has completed the first cohort of its AX (AI Transformation) Leader Development Program and held an awards ceremony recognizing outstanding innovation projects.

The program aims to strengthen AI capabilities across the company's managerial workforce and embed AI-driven work innovation throughout the organization. Participants identified problems in their own work and developed ways to improve their workflows using AI.

Hite Jinro ran its "WAVE 2026" training twice between August and September, with 26 managers taking part. Participants learned "vibe coding," an AI-based development approach, and each developed one individual innovation project applying AI to their own area of work. More than half of the projects focused on sales and marketing, reflecting strong demand for AI adoption in data analysis and customer-facing roles.

The company recognized five outstanding projects at the awards ceremony. The top prize went to a "field sales data integration AI platform" that consolidates and analyzes sales data. Four other projects also received awards: a trade-area analysis agent supporting data-driven sales analysis, a contract legal review program powered by AI, a Promotion Decision Engine optimizing promotional activities, and a BI Assistant supporting automated generation of business intelligence reports.

Hite Jinro CEO Jang In-seop said the company would ensure that "AX leaders generate tangible results in their day-to-day work, spread those results across the entire organization, and help AI- and data-driven work innovation take root as part of our corporate culture."
