The Daegu Happiness Foundation announced Wednesday that its Kkomjirak Baljeonso facility will hold the 2026 Halloween Maker Festival on Friday at Kkomjirak Park in Jungni-dong, Seo-gu.
The event is part of a Seo-gu makerspace revitalization project and was designed to offer creative hands-on activities through the familiar theme of Halloween while strengthening community ties among local residents.
Eight Halloween-themed activity booths open to visitors of all ages will be set up at the venue, along with a variety of photo zones to give attendees a memorable experience.
On the main stage, a laser show and a large balloon performance will add to the festive atmosphere. A family-oriented talent contest called "Kkireul Pyeolchyeorak!" — in which teenagers and local residents showcase their talents — will then take the stage, creating a space for intergenerational connection.
"We hope this festival gives young people and local residents a chance to enjoy something out of the ordinary and connect with one another," a Daegu Happiness Foundation official said. "We will continue to develop diverse programs that support the healthy growth of youth and creative cultural activities in step with the local community."
