Kiturami announced Wednesday that it ranked first in the condensing gas boiler category of the 2026 AX Quality Excellence Index, an evaluation administered by the Korean Standards Association.

Introduced for the first time this year, the AX Quality Excellence Index is a quality assessment model jointly developed by the Korean Standards Association and the Korean Society for Quality Management. It builds on the existing Korean Standards Quality Excellence Index by measuring how satisfied consumers are with the AI technology embedded in products and services, based on their direct experience.

Kiturami received high marks in both usage quality — which covers performance, reliability, durability, usability, safety and accessibility — and emotional quality, which assesses brand image, recognizability and novelty.

Its flagship product, the Geokuro NEW Condensing L10 gas boiler, features a "smart hot water" function that uses AI to analyze the user's hot-water usage patterns. The system preheats the heat exchanger ahead of peak usage times, reducing the wait for hot water.

The boiler also supports voice control through integration with an Internet of Things indoor thermostat and an AI speaker. Users can turn heating on or off, set a desired temperature and activate away mode by voice, without touching the thermostat directly.

This year, Kiturami introduced its "AI Room-by-Room Heating System," extending AI control to individual room heating.

Kiturami is broadening its use of AI beyond conventional temperature settings and heating controls, moving toward a system that learns users' lifestyles and automatically adjusts heating and hot water. In particular, the room-occupancy detection and hot-water usage prediction features are designed to reduce the manual configuration required of users.

"We will continue to advance the integration of heating and hot-water technology with AI, delivering products that adapt more precisely and comfortably to each customer's lifestyle," a Kiturami official said.

This year's AX Quality Excellence Index survey covered 48 companies and brands across 21 product and service categories. An online survey ran for approximately one month starting in August, targeting 9,600 consumers nationwide who had used AI features in the relevant products.
