Sangmidang Holdings vice chairman attends GGG partner event in Paris to discuss global expansion

Sangmidang Holdings Vice Chairman Heo Jin-su attended a partner reception hosted by Gellert Global Group (GGG) at the US Embassy residence in Paris, France, on Saturday (local time).

US Ambassador to France Charles Kushner organized the event to welcome GGG's global partners, drawing more than 130 attendees from about 80 companies worldwide. Heo was the only representative from a Korean company to receive an invitation. He met with GGG Chairman George Gellert and Ambassador Kushner, and discussed the current state of their business and ways to deepen cooperation with GGG executives.

GGG is a US-based food import and retail group that supplies products to North American retailers, food service distributors, restaurant, hotel and cruise operators, and food manufacturers. It sources more than 4,000 food products from over 60 countries and generates annual sales of more than $1.7 billion.

Heo also networked with European food ingredient and bakery production companies among the invited guests, connections Sangmidang Holdings sees as a foundation for expanding Samlip and Paris Baguette into European markets. On Sunday, Chairman Gellert and Ambassador Kushner visited the Samlip booth at SIAL Paris 2026, a major international food trade show held in the French capital.

"It was a meaningful occasion to strengthen trust with our global partners and build a network for expanding into North American and European markets," a Sangmidang Holdings official said. "We will continue to broaden our global partnerships and accelerate our push into overseas markets."
