Lotte Outlets, Lotte Mall to hold 'Surprise Week' starting Friday
Lotte Outlets will kick off "Surprise Week" on Friday, the company announced Thursday. The large-scale shopping event, themed around "surprisingly low prices," runs through Nov. 8.
All Lotte Outlets stores and Lotte Mall locations in Gwanggyo, Gwangmyeong, Gunsan, Suji, Eunpyeong and Jinju are taking part, covering every product category from luxury and sports to kids and living. Shoppers can receive up to an additional 30 percent off the already-discounted outlet prices on popular brands including Nike, The North Face, Sandro and Theory.
A "Winter Outerwear Super Sale" offers up to 70 percent off cold-weather clothing from brands such as National Geographic, Discovery and Lacoste. The Dongbusan, Paju and Icheon locations will discount K2, Eider, Nordisk and Wide Angle products by up to 60 percent from Nov. 6 to 15. The Isiapolis and Buyeo stores will sell New Balance products at up to 65 percent off from Nov. 6 to 12.
A series of experiential pop-up events will also run during the period. The Uiwang store will host a "Teletubbies Autumn Picnic" pop-up through Nov. 8, while the Dongbusan location will run a "Happy Grape Garden" pop-up from global gummy brand Haribo over the same period. The Icheon store will open a pop-up featuring global educational IP content "Numberblocks" and "Alphablocks" from Nov. 6 to 15.
"We have prepared the largest shopping festival of the year for the Black Friday season, when year-end shopping demand surges," said Kim Hyeon-yeong, head of Lotte Department Store's marketing team 2.
