Hyundai Department Store names Kim Eun-sung new head of The Hyundai Daegu

Hyundai Department Store has appointed Senior Managing Director Kim Eun-sung as the new store manager of The Hyundai Daegu. The previous manager, Senior Managing Director Kim Kang-jin, has been transferred to head the Hyundai Department Store Pangyo branch.

According to Hyundai Department Store, Kim began work Thursday and will officially take up the post on Jan. 1 next year.

Kim joined Hyundai Department Store's human resources division in 2000 and went on to serve in the fashion merchandise business unit in 2009 and the management improvement team under the planning and coordination headquarters in 2011.

In 2020, Kim was appointed head of the luxury goods and accessories team at the Hyundai Department Store main branch, and from 2024 served as head of the overseas luxury business division under the merchandise headquarters, holding the rank of senior managing director.
