Uljin-gun in North Gyeongsang Province will offer free influenza vaccinations to all residents through April 30 next year, the county announced Saturday.
The program will be available at 12 contracted clinics and hospitals and 26 public health facilities across the county.
The county had been rolling out flu shots in phases since September, starting with children and pregnant women. Since Monday, the program has expanded to all Uljin-gun residents at a total of 38 locations, including contracted clinics and public health centers.
Residents must bring a valid ID when visiting a clinic or health facility. Those between the ages of 15 and 64 — whose vaccinations are available exclusively to Uljin-gun residents — must also bring a copy of their resident registration certificate to verify their registered address.
For further inquiries, residents may contact the preventive medicine team at the Uljin-gun Public Health Center.
"We will do our utmost to ease the financial burden of medical costs and create a clean Uljin-gun free of influenza through free flu vaccinations for all residents," said Uljin-gun County Chief Hwang I-ju.
