Axia-based design features 360-degree sheep motif and alignment band
Golf equipment brand Volvik announced Monday that it has released a New Year's edition golf ball and park golf ball to mark the 2027 Year of the Red Sheep.
Volvik releases a limited-edition golf ball each year featuring the zodiac animal of the coming year. This year's design incorporates red and gold accents to complement the sheep, a symbol of gentleness and abundance.
The New Year's edition golf ball is built on Volvik's Axia model. A sheep motif wraps around the entire surface of the ball, and the red and gold band serves not only as decoration but also as an alignment guide for putting.
Volvik says the ball features a soft dual core and a stain-resistant coating cover to improve feel and durability. The product comes in packages of 12, six and four balls. The six- and four-ball sets include a ball marker bearing the red sheep design. A park golf ball with the same design is also available.
"We prepared this edition so that customers can achieve great results on the course in the new year and share their gratitude with the people who matter most to them," a Volvik official said.
