Travel YouTuber Kwak Tube, whose real name is Kwak Jun-bin, paid 3.15 million won ($2,350) to treat the entire film crew to a gift.
On Friday's episode of MBN and Channel S's "Jeonhyeonmu Plan 4," broadcaster Jeon Hyun-moo and Kwak Tube joined singer Heo Gak and actors Lee Jeong-shin and Oh Se-young on a search for popular restaurants in Incheon.
That day, Jeon and Kwak visited a mandu restaurant in Incheon's Cheongna district, guided by Heo Gak, who lives in the area.
The restaurant has been in business for 16 years and hand-makes more than 1,000 mandu a day. The three sampled mandu alongside Pyongyang-style, bibim and perilla oil makguksu, drawing expressions of delight from all.
After the meal, Kwak said he had wanted to pick up the tab if the mandu were available for takeout. The restaurant owner said orders could be placed in advance, and Jeon was quick to seize the moment.
Jeon immediately called out, "Kwak Tube is ringing the golden bell!"
Kwak agreed to buy mandu sets for every member of the film crew on set.
The bill came to 3.15 million won, and the announcement drew a round of applause on set.
