Eunpyeong-gu Recruits Participants for 'Hope Doubled Youth Savings' and 'Dream Nare' Asset-Building Programs

Eunpyeong-gu in Seoul is accepting applications for the 2026 Hope Doubled Youth Savings and Dream Nare savings programs, designed to help young workers build assets and assist low-income families in setting aside funds for their children's education.

The Hope Doubled Youth Savings program matches participants' monthly deposits with equal contributions from the Seoul Metropolitan Government and private sponsors. Participants who save 150,000 won ($99) per month for two years can receive up to 7.2 million won plus interest at maturity, giving working youth a meaningful boost toward financial independence.

Applicants must be Eunpyeong-gu residents between the ages of 18 and 34 as of the announcement date, with monthly earned income of no more than 2.55 million won, and must meet income and asset thresholds for dependents. Seoul-wide enrollment is capped at 10,000 participants, selected in order of score following a review.

The Dream Nare program targets households with children aged 14 or under whose income falls between 50 and 80 percent of the median income standard. The program adds 50 percent on top of each deposit made during the savings period. Seoul-wide enrollment is limited to 300 participants, with 13 slots allocated to Eunpyeong-gu.

Applications are open from June 8 through June 19 until 6 p.m. and can be submitted online through the Seoul Metropolitan Government's Asset-Building Support Project website. After submission, applicants undergo a credit check, document review, and income and asset investigation, with final selections announced Nov. 3. Savings begin after participants sign their agreements.
