"OPEN AM 1st," the first public evaluation program of AMP Cohort 3, a youth artist development initiative, will run June 18–21 at the AMP space in Yongsan-gu, Seoul. The event marks the first public presentation of existing and current work by the seven artists selected for AMP Cohort 3, and signals the formal start of the move-in program's evaluation process.
AMP is a youth artist development program that brings together gallerists, collectors and audiences to follow each artist's creative process and growth potential over the long term. The Cohort 3 artists will continue their practice at Atelier Mansion Studio. Starting with this cohort, a new system grants priority studio selection rights based on the results of the first public evaluation. In the subsequent second and third program stages, AMP Galleries 1 and 2 will operate together, with artists working from their chosen spaces.
