Fixed-price consumables bring transparency to after-sales service; Filante's 'R:assure' covers free parts replacement
Renault Korea is raising customer satisfaction through fast and transparent after-sales service. The automaker has built service credibility with a fixed-price policy on consumables and a highly functional vehicle management app, while also easing maintenance costs for buyers of its flagship crossover, the Filante, through a premium care service.
Renault Korea said Tuesday it is the first automaker in the domestic industry to apply fixed prices to key consumables such as engine oil and tires, bringing greater transparency to its after-sales operations.
Central to the effort is the My Renault vehicle management app, which has strengthened maintenance convenience and lifted customer satisfaction. Renault Korea vehicle owners can use the app to book service appointments at more than 400 service centers nationwide and check repair estimates with ease.
Customers visiting any of the seven company-operated service centers across the country can also receive fast, app-based maintenance service and check expected costs in advance, adding a further layer of convenience.
A paid premium transparent inspection service is also available for customers who want to keep their vehicle in peak condition. When a certified technician identifies an issue during an inspection, a vehicle report containing photos or video is sent directly through the My Renault app. The service also uses vehicle inspection data to notify owners when individual components are due for maintenance, and sends personalized alerts when key inspection items approach their service intervals.
Renault Korea has also introduced an enhanced care package for buyers of the recently launched Filante. The R:assure premium care solution, included as standard with every Filante purchase, provides free replacement of key consumables — engine oil set and air-conditioning filter changes within three years or 45,000 kilometers of purchase, three premium vehicle inspections, and one brake oil change — reducing the maintenance burden on customers.
