LH Daegu-North Gyeongsang office holds 2026 safety culture event

Korea Land and Housing Corp.'s Daegu-North Gyeongsang Regional Headquarters held its "2026 Safety Culture Event" at the headquarters' main conference room Wednesday to promote accident prevention and a broader safety culture at construction sites, the agency announced.

The event drew 33 participants, including headquarters officials and on-site representatives and safety managers from 10 construction sites across the Daegu and North Gyeongsang region.

The program featured a safety training session led by Son Gi-man, head of Dongyang Construction Safety Technology Group, followed by an open forum where field workers shared difficulties and suggestions from their worksites.

Oh Seong-jun, acting head of the Daegu-North Gyeongsang Regional Headquarters, said the event was "a starting point for communication and cooperation among construction sites under our jurisdiction," adding that the agency would work to strengthen coordination across sites to prevent accidents and reduce injury rates.
