Daegu Urban Development Corp. volunteers paint murals to brighten aging alleyways

The Daegu Urban Development Corp. carried out a mural-painting volunteer project Monday in the Bisan-dong neighborhood of Seo-gu, Daegu, as part of efforts to improve aging alleyways under its "Woori-ga Green Alley" initiative.

About 10 company executives and employees took part, directly applying color to pre-designed mural templates on the walls.

The work transformed once dark and dreary alleyways into bright, vibrant spaces, contributing to an improved streetscape for the neighborhood.

Daegu Urban Development Corp. President Jeong Myeong-seop said he hoped the volunteer activity would "raise residents' lifestyle satisfaction and breathe new energy into the local community."
