NH NongHyup Bank's North Gyeongsang branch opens heat shelters at all locations for summer

NH NongHyup Bank's North Gyeongsang branch announced Thursday that it has launched a "heat shelter" program at all of its branches in the region ahead of the summer heat season.

The bank has directed all branches to display guidance stickers, banners and signage so customers know they are welcome to stop in at any nearby branch.

To promote the program, the bank held a kickoff event at its Sangju branch on June 1, distributing cup-portioned watermelon — a seasonal summer fruit — to raise awareness.

"All NH NongHyup Bank branches in North Gyeongsang Province are open to the community," branch head Kim Jin-wook said. "We will provide a comfortable environment and the best financial services so that anyone can drop by and rest without hesitation."
