Yeungnam University of Science and Technology, Cosmax NBT sign MOU to boost work-learning program

Yeungnam University of Science and Technology signed an MOU with Cosmax NBT Co. on Wednesday at the company's Factory No. 1 to strengthen industry-academic cooperation and expand their work-learning parallel program.

Yeungnam University of Science and Technology President Lee Jae-yong, Cosmax NBT Managing Director Kim Eui-taek and other senior officials from both institutions attended the signing ceremony.

Under the agreement, the university will develop and operate a higher-education curriculum linked to the work-learning parallel program, build a cooperative environment for industry-academic collaboration and provide systematic education to strengthen job competencies in the manufacturing sector.

Cosmax NBT will support the hiring of students enrolled in the work-learning program and provide regular corporate information and recruitment updates.

"This agreement will serve as a good example of mutually beneficial cooperation — offering students a wider range of employment opportunities while supplying companies with talented graduates," President Lee said.
