Geumgang Housing Co. announced Thursday that it will open a sales gallery Friday for Altiero Gwangan, a new residential complex to be built on the former Busan MBC broadcasting site in Minnak-dong, Suyeong-gu, Busan, marking the official launch of pre-sales.
The complex will rise up to 27 above-ground floors across four buildings, offering a total of 366 units with exclusive use areas ranging from 151 to 191 square meters.
The unit breakdown by type is as follows: 72 units of 151㎡, three units of 151㎡P, 66 units of 153㎡, three units of 153㎡P, 92 units of 154㎡, four units of 154㎡P, 95 units of 160㎡, four units of 160㎡P, 26 units of 191㎡, and one unit of 191㎡P.
Altiero Gwangan positions itself as a "hyper-end" luxury complex, with differentiated design elements applied throughout.
A standout feature is its rear-open specialized design, which maximizes panoramic views and a sense of openness stretching from Haeundae to Gwangalli Beach and the Suyeong River.
Unit interiors incorporate alpha rooms, kitchen pantries and entryway pantries to enhance storage and spatial efficiency. Select unit types are designed to offer panoramic ocean and river views at the same time.
The exterior will be finished with a curtain-wall glass facade, and architectural design firm DnSP contributed to the common-area design.
Global architecture firm Perkins Eastman is handling the overall design, while internationally recognized landscape architecture firm PWP is responsible for the landscaping.
American lighting design firm bpi will handle nighttime lighting, adding a further layer of sophistication. Samsung C&T's Everland landscaping division will carry out the landscape construction.
Each unit will also have access to approximately 2.6 parking spaces on average, enhancing residential convenience.
"We have been receiving strong attention, with inquiries coming in even before the gallery opens," a project official said. "We plan to present this as a hyper-end landmark complex representing Busan."
To qualify for first-priority apartment subscription, applicants must be Busan, South Gyeongsang Province or Ulsan residents aged 19 or older as of June 5 — the date of the official recruitment announcement — with a housing subscription account held for at least six months and sufficient regional and area-based deposits.
Both single-home owners and multi-home owners are eligible for first-priority subscription.
The subscription schedule opens Monday with special supply, followed by first-priority subscriptions Tuesday and second-priority subscriptions Wednesday.
Winners will be announced June 23, with formal contracts to be signed at the Altiero Gwangan gallery over three days from July 6 to July 8.
The Altiero Gwangan gallery is located in U-dong, Haeundae-gu, Busan.
