LG Hellovision, Hyundai Home Shopping team up on budget mobile plan

LG Hellovision and Hyundai Home Shopping have joined forces to launch a co-branded mobile plan that bundles unlimited data with shopping benefits, aiming to boost value for budget phone users.

LG Hellovision's HelloMobile announced Sunday that it has launched the "Hyundai Home Shopping SIM card plan" in partnership with Hyundai Home Shopping, offering 20,000 won (about $13) worth of Hyundai H Mall shopping benefits each month. The plan adds shopping credits and discount coupons on top of its popular unlimited data offerings.

LG Hellovision said it expects strong synergy with its core budget-phone customer base, given that Hyundai H Mall spans TV home shopping, department store and online products.

Subscribers to the Hyundai Home Shopping SIM card plan receive three monthly perks for 24 months: an H Mall credit of 5,000 won, a 5,000-won discount coupon valid on all products for purchases of 50,000 won or more, and a 10,000-won discount coupon for TV broadcast products for purchases of 30,000 won or more. Sign-ups are available through the HelloMobile official online store or at authorized dealers nationwide.

The lineup mirrors HelloMobile's five bestselling LTE unlimited data SIM card plans: the Hyundai Home Shopping SIM 1GB (1GB + 1Mbps, 9,700 won per month), the Hyundai Home Shopping SIM 7GB (7GB + 1Mbps, 18,100 won per month), the Hyundai Home Shopping Data Plus SIM 7GB (7GB + 10GB + 1Mbps, 19,600 won per month), the Hyundai Home Shopping SIM 11GB (11GB + 2GB daily + 3Mbps, 35,190 won per month) and the Hyundai Home Shopping SIM 100GB (100GB + 5Mbps, 40,400 won per month).

Customers using a HelloMobile affiliated card can receive an additional discount of up to 20,000 won per month.
