Actor Noh Joo-hyun, 79, keeps a second home at an upscale senior living complex in Seoul's Magok district, it has emerged.
A YouTube channel called "Real Actresses," run by veteran actors Kim Yeong-ran, Lee Gyeong-jin and Ahn So-yeong, published a video Wednesday touring the complex where Noh resides.
The complex, VL Le West, was developed by Lotte Construction and sits between Magok Station on subway Line 5 and Magok Naru Station, served by Line 9 and the Airport Railroad — making it a triple transit-oriented location. It falls within a designated medical special zone, offering convenient access to healthcare, and features amenities including a sauna, fitness center and golf practice range.
A staff member at the complex said the 29-pyeong (about 96-square-meter) unit type is the one Noh occupies. "He comes by occasionally. He uses it as a second house," the staff member said.
The deposit for a 29-pyeong unit ranges from 1.45 billion to 1.49 billion won (about $969,000), with monthly fees per person — covering meals and other services — running from 3.5 million to 4.25 million won.
Noh recently drew attention after a separate YouTube channel revealed that he lives on a sprawling estate in Anseong, Gyeonggi Province, with a cafe and residence on a site of roughly 800 pyeong (about 2,640 square meters).
