IVE's return to Tokyo Dome lands on front pages of Japan's top sports dailies

Girl group IVE drew intense coverage from major Japanese media outlets as the act made its second appearance at Tokyo Dome.

According to the group's agency, Starship Entertainment, all five of Japan's major sports dailies — Daily Sports, Sankei Sports, Nikkan Sports, Sports Hochi and Sports Nippon — ran IVE's Tokyo Dome performance on their front pages ahead of the group's second world tour, "SHOW WHAT I AM," adding to the excitement surrounding the shows.

Each outlet featured interviews with IVE members exploring their anticipation and resolve ahead of the performances, as well as the special significance of the Tokyo Dome stage, further raising expectations among local fans.

The outlets led with member quotes — "It is truly an honor to be able to perform at Tokyo Dome again" and "We want to show how much we have grown" — highlighting strong interest in IVE's return to the venue.

The Tokyo Dome shows mark IVE's first performances at the venue in roughly one year and nine months, following the encore leg of their first world tour, "SHOW WHAT I HAVE," in September 2024.

At Tokyo Dome, IVE is expected to captivate audiences with a more polished setlist and live performances that showcase each of the six members' individual personalities alongside the group's signature energy.

After the Tokyo Dome run, IVE will carry the world tour to North America in July and August.
