Cho Ju-hong, governor-elect of Yeongdeok-gun, has begun visiting major project sites in the county as part of his formal transition activities.
According to the Yeongdeok-gun gubernatorial transition committee, Cho visited key project sites in the county from June 25 to June 26 to assess their progress and review the direction of future work.
The field inspection covered a series of sites: the Dokdo History and Culture Park, the Jangsa Amphibious Operation Victory Memorial Hall, Yeongdeok Market and a temporary housing site for displaced residents. At each stop, Cho listened to practical concerns and difficulties raised by those on the ground.
Cho plans to incorporate the residents' voices he heard during the visits into county administration.
"I will thoroughly review the necessity and direction of major projects that have a direct bearing on regional development and the lives of county residents," Cho said.
