Busan Bank Gallery to host series of exhibitions in July

BNK Busan Bank announced Thursday that its BNK Busan Bank Gallery in Sinchang-dong will host a series of creative exhibitions showcasing a range of artistic voices throughout July.

The first, a solo exhibition titled "Universe" by Lee Hong-seon, runs through July 10. The show explores the invisible energy and connectivity that flows through humanity, nature and the cosmos, expressing the order of the universe and the energy of life through visual representations of rhythm and movement — rendered as rippling, shifting forms — drawing viewers into deep immersion.

From July 13 to 22, the gallery presents "Hyangmukoe 4-Person Exhibition," a group show in which four artists continue their exploration of Korean painting, bringing together the spirit of traditional ink painting and a contemporary sensibility. The works capture the beauty of nature, the turning of seasons, and the memories and emotions of daily life through the language of ink and brush, offering a meaningful encounter with the depth and emotional resonance of Korean painting.

Closing out the month, the Haeyangwahuhoe, a marine-themed painting circle, holds its 38th exhibition from July 24 to 31. Members spanning a wide range of ages — connected through school ties across generations — present their individual artistic worlds through distinctive colors and brushwork. The show promises visitors a glimpse of life's most vibrant and joyful moments.
