Gyeongju semiconductor school gets tailored AI education from Gyeonguk University platform

Gyeonguk National University's K-High-Tech Platform project team conducted a tailored AI education program for all students at Korea Semiconductor Meister High School in Gyeongju from June 29 through July 6, as part of efforts to build a regional AI ecosystem.

The program aimed to strengthen the digital literacy and practical job-readiness skills of students at the specialized vocational school, who are considered key future talent for industry.

The curriculum went beyond passive exposure to generative AI tools, emphasizing hands-on, practice-oriented learning in which students actively applied AI themselves.

Kim Hyeon-gi, head of the university's K-High-Tech Platform project team, said the university would continue the effort. "We will keep designing and delivering tailored AI education programs that people from all walks of life can meaningfully experience, in line with our educational goals," he said.
