Jin Air launches second-half 'Jin Market' sale with up to 96% off fares

Jin Air announced Monday the launch of its Jin Market, the airline's biggest promotional sale of the year.

The sale runs for four days through Thursday, covering two travel windows: an early-bird period from Oct. 25 through March 27 next year, and a last-minute departure period from Monday through Oct. 24. Discounted fares on international routes are applied automatically, while domestic route discounts require entering a promotional code at checkout.

To ease the booking rush on the first day, Jin Air staggered opening times by region. Routes to Southeast Asia, Guam and domestic destinations go on sale at 10 a.m., followed by Japan and Greater China routes at 2 p.m. Last-minute departure fares for both domestic and international routes open simultaneously at 10 a.m.

Discounts of up to 96 percent are on offer, with the lowest one-way all-inclusive fares by key route as follows: Incheon–Tokyo (Narita) at 125,000 won ($83), Incheon–Cebu at 155,400 won, Busan–Osaka at 84,900 won, Busan–Taipei at 115,000 won, Jeju–Hong Kong at 120,000 won, and Gimpo–Jeju at 36,100 won. All-inclusive fares incorporate airport taxes and fuel surcharges and are subject to change depending on the time of booking.

Beyond the discounted fares, Jin Air has expanded its payment and partner benefits. Additional discounts are available through Kakao Pay, Naver Pay, Samsung Card and Visa, while Jin Air members can receive a complimentary "Beauty Travel Bag." Travel product bookings through Monkey Travel are discounted by up to 20 percent, along with a range of other travel-related perks.

"As this is the last Jin Market of the year, we have prepared tickets with the highest discount rates across the widest range of routes," a Jin Air official said. "We hope customers will not miss this opportunity to enjoy not only the special fares but also a free 15-kilogram checked baggage allowance as standard, plus additional payment discounts and partner benefits."

Meanwhile, Jin Air has been working to improve the in-flight experience, recently introducing four new pre-order meal options: plain fried chicken, spicy-sweet seasoned chicken, a cheese-loaded combination pizza, and spicy-tangy sea snail bibim noodles.
