Jang Seong-gyu shares his own heartwarming story: 'I'll spread my own good deeds'

Broadcaster Jang Seong-gyu has shared a heartwarming story about himself — and he shared it himself.

On Wednesday, Jang posted a photo on his Instagram with the caption "I'll spread my own good deeds." The image was a screenshot of a direct message exchange with a fan.

The fan wrote to Jang saying her father had worked as a driver for a broadcasting station and wanted to thank him for how warmly and consistently Jang had treated him over the years.

She added that Jang's name had come up in a family conversation and that her father had praised him highly, calling him the most genuine and kind person among all the celebrities he had met.

Jang replied, "Please pass along my heartfelt thanks to your father. I'm truly touched."

Jang joined JTBC as a first-cohort announcer in 2011, the year the network launched. He left in 2019 and has since continued working as a broadcaster.
