Singer Sunmi recalls shutting down drunk man who told Wonder Girls to pour his drinks

Singer Sunmi has shared a story about a time she was pushed to her limit by a drunk stranger.

On Monday's episode of SBS's "Ani Geunde Jinja," a talk variety show, U-Know Yunho, Sunmi and Jonathan appeared as guests to share updates on their lives.

During the episode, host Lee Suji asked Sunmi whether she was the type to get angry easily, and whether there had ever been a moment in her life when she was truly furious.

Sunmi said she was generally easygoing, but added that she "becomes a demon" when someone crosses a line.

She then recalled an incident from her Wonder Girls days, when she was having a meal with fellow member Yubin.

"Yubin and I were eating, and the men at the next table were drunk," Sunmi said.

She then revealed that the men had walked over to their table with their glasses and said, "Wonder Girls, pour us some drinks" — a disclosure that left everyone on set stunned.

The hosts could not hide their shock, with reactions including "Are they out of their minds?" and "This isn't some drama series."

"That was something I absolutely could not let slide," Sunmi said. "When I get angry, I actually smile — a smile full of murderous intent."

She then re-enacted the moment, describing how she had looked at the men with a blank expression and said, "Act your age. Get out of here, now" — drawing admiration from the rest of the cast.
