Page Room 8 in Jongno-gu, Seoul, is hosting a solo exhibition titled "Penumbra" by artist Shin Jun-min (b. 1985) through Aug. 22. Taking its name from the partial shadow formed during a solar or lunar eclipse, the show explores the boundary between light and shadow and landscapes that overlap in memory, rendered through painting. Traveling between Seoul and Daegu, Shin captures the shifting scenery and changing quality of light he encounters along the way, probing the physical properties and sensory experience of light through scenes that fade and sharpen on the canvas.
