Meta, the company behind social media platforms including Facebook and Instagram, reported Wednesday that its second-quarter sales reached $60.8 billion (87.8 trillion won).
The result easily surpassed the $60.17 billion consensus forecast compiled by the London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG).
Earnings per share (EPS) came in at $6.18, however, falling more than a dollar short of the market's expectation of $7.22.
