POSCO International disclosed Thursday that its second-quarter consolidated operating profit rose 26.9 percent from a year earlier to 429 billion won ($296 million).
Revenue for the same period grew 18.4 percent to 9.62 trillion won.
Net profit for the period came in at 247.3 billion won, a preliminary figure reflecting a 173.3 percent increase from a year earlier.
