Samsung SDI disclosed Thursday that its second-quarter operating profit came in at 203.8 billion won ($141 million) on a consolidated basis, swinging to a profit from a loss in the same period a year earlier.
Revenue for the quarter rose 18.5 percent year-on-year to 3.77 trillion won, according to preliminary figures.
Net profit for the period also turned positive, reaching 471.6 billion won.
