The Hyundai Daegu held the 3rd Daegu-North Gyeongsang Bridge Fair Tournament on Saturday at The Forum on the ninth floor of the department store.
The tournament was organized to give customers a chance to connect through bridge, an intellectual sport, and explore new leisure activities together.
Bridge is a strategic card game played two-on-two with a standard 52-card deck. The International Olympic Committee has officially recognized it alongside games such as Go and chess.
The event drew attention for its design as a community-oriented gathering rather than a purely competitive tournament, giving participants space to mingle and share their interests and hobbies.
About 70 participants tested their strategy and judgment at the table while socializing freely before and after the matches, embracing bridge culture together.
"We will continue to offer customers special experiences through bridge tournaments and a variety of other cultural events at The Hyundai Daegu, creating opportunities for people in the region to enjoy new leisure activities," a store official said.
