Gyeongil University's RE:ON project team reviews first-half results, maps out second-half programs

Gyeongil University's RE:ON project team held a two-day conference Thursday and Friday at Lahan Hotel in Pohang to share first-half results from its second year of operations and discuss second-half program plans.

About 30 people attended, including the RE:ON project director, program professors and representatives from community volunteer centers across North Gyeongsang Province.

The recovery community program session highlighted the key activities of the RE:ON volunteer corps, which has been supporting the physical health and psychological well-being of residents in wildfire-affected areas of North Gyeongsang Province.

Program professors presented the volunteer initiatives they developed in response to local residents' needs, explaining how each program operates and why it is needed.

"We will continue working closely with local volunteer centers to deliver programs that residents can genuinely feel the benefit of," said Lee Hee-jun, director of the RE:ON project team.
